Surviving in his loving wife of 54 years: Barb a son Brian a daughter Becky (Bret) Hanson five grandchildren: Hannah, Madeline, William, Adam, and Piper his siblings: Joe (Mary), Jim (Genelda), Ken (Joyce) Zenz, and Ann Britt his in laws: Delores Burkholder, Laverne (Ruth) Slater, Shirley Kitelinger and David Pace and many nieces and nephews. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, camping, fishing, meeting up with friends for coffee, and keeping up with his family. After years of milking cows, Bill retired in 2005 and operated a mowing and snowplow business. Together they farmed in South Lancaster Township. On April 15, 1967, he was united in marriage to Barbara J. Bill was employed at Farmer's Union Co-op in Lancaster. He was drafted in the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War.
